Content

For more than 20 years, machine translation (MT) plays an important role within the process of technical translation. Methods like pre-editing and post-editing have been developed to cope with the output of MT systems. Authors of technical contents can learn a lot from automated technical translation and accompanying processes. The presentation will demonstrate if and how AI contents can be handled to achieve high quality technical documentation.

Takeaways

How to deal with AI output? This presentation will show you what technical writers may learn from technical translators. Chances and challenges of AI for technical communicators will be examined.

Prior knowledge
