Some writers and specialists claim it’s too difficult to write in DITA and that the learning curve is too steep. Some other specialists and documentation managers claim that they can start new hires writing in DITA in a couple of hours. Where is the balance between these two statements?

This presentation is meant to bring a little clarity to writers, information architects, and documentation managers by highlighting which practices technical authors need to a) adopt, b) adapt and c) shed to understand and join the standardized structured format that is the Darwin Information Typing Architecture.

The presentation is open for all writers using various tools and methods.
