AI is not a tool – it’s a transformation. But before jumping into prompts or pilots, we need to ask the right questions: What exactly do we mean by "AI" in the context of technical communication? What expectations are realistic? And how do we align this powerful technology with editorial goals, user needs, and existing infrastructures? This talk explores the complexity of strategy development and outlines the key dimensions to consider – from compliance and data privacy to workflows and content quality.
