Peter Bjerre Rosa (MA, Film and Media Studies) is Subtitling Development Manager at DR where his main focus is speech recognition and quality control. He has 19 years’ experience subtitling theatrical films, TV shows and news programmes with Chinese as a niche language. Peter is the co-author of “Guidelines for Subtitling in Denmark”, inspired by a similar Norwegian project. The guidelines describe the requirements and characteristics of subtitles in Denmark, and they're endorsed by a majority of the industry stakeholders. Currently, his main focus is on refining speech recognition for live broadcasts.
