Conditions of participation

Registration for the conference is non-transferable and binding. Registration conditional upon participation in a specific presentation, workshop or evening event is not permitted. The number of attendees at NORDIC TechKomm Copenhagen is limited.

Payment

The conference fee is due upon registration. Immediately after registration, the fee is payable by invoice, credit card or Paypal. Payment by invoice can only be granted up to a maximum of 3 weeks before the conference. Alternatively, you can pay by credit card or PayPal.

Use of early bird discount

If no payment is received, the difference between the normal price and the amount of the early bird discount will be charged 3 weeks after invoicing. The obligation to pay does not expire if the attendee does not attend. If the attendee cannot ensure that the invoice amount is received before the start of the event, proof that the invoice amount has been transferred must be shown on site.

Seat Reservation

Workshop seat reservation

The number of workshop seats is limited. To be able to attend a workshop, participants must save a spot using ‘my conference tool’. Participation in workshops without a reservation is not guaranteed.

Workshop seat cancellation if the registration fee has not been paid

If no payment is received by the first day of the conference, reserved seats for workshops are automatically freed up for other participants.

Cancellation

No cancellation fee is charged if cancellation is carried out up to four weeks before the conference starts. For cancellations received by the organizer within one week of the start of the conference, the organizer may charge a reasonable lump sum of 90.00 euros net or withhold this amount from the conference fees already received. If cancellation is carried out later than one week before the conference, or while the conference is in progress, the entire conference fee is due or, if the conference fee has already been paid, it will not be refunded.

In the event of illness:

  • the ticket cannot be transferred to a third party free of charge.
  • the ticket may be canceled free of charge with evidence of illness. For this purpose, evidence of illness must be promptly provided in the form of a medical certificate to accounting.tcworlddontospamme@gowaway.tekom.de; otherwise, the above cancellation conditions will apply.

Force Majeure

In the event of force majeure resulting in cancellation of the conference or interference with the contract, or the conference or individual services according to the contract, both parties have the right to terminate the contract. This also applies if impossibility is established in accordance with § 275 paragraph 2 of the German Civil Code (BGB).

In these cases, services made must be reversed in accordance with § 346 of the German Civil Code (BGB) and the right to the contractual services is waived. Claims for damages and compensation for futile expenses are excluded.
