Biography
Hanna Heinonen is a doctoral researcher at Tampere University and the Digital Content Lead at KONE Corporation. She has 20 years of experience in the field of technical communication as a writer, illustrator, information designer and other related roles. Her specialties include information architecture and design, user-centered, task-based documentation, topic-based structured content creation (DITA XML), and content management systems and tools. She is pursuing a Ph.D. in Interactive Technology at Tampere University, researching what XR can offer to technical communication.
Biography
Sirpa Ruokangas is Solution Owner for Portfolio and Content Solutions, as well as Enteprise Architect (act) for Content Management in KONE IT. In business roles she has acted as a writer, information designer, information architect and process architect. Found IBM DITA some 20+ years ago, was early adopter and contributed in making DITA into a standard with her colleagues. Then she drifted away to IT roles; nowadays focus in making sure her business teams have the 'best' industry tools for content management, dynamic delivery and translation. She is a founding member of Finnish Society for Technical communication.
