Biography
After having studied technical translation, Marion used to work for ten years at a global localization company as a translator, project manager and business unit manager. Three years of freelance translation, technical writing and consulting followed, before Marion started her career at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, where she started as a research assistant. Today she is teaching BA and MA students in International Technical Communication. In 2021 Marion finished her doctoral studies with a PhD in Applied Linguistics. The title of the dissertation "Kommunikative Bedingungen Maschineller Übersetzbarkeit" (Communicative Conditions for Machine Translatability) reflects her passion for natural language processing and human computer interaction.
Biography
Esben Keller holds a Master’s Degree in International Business Communication. He started his career in technical communication as a technical writer and translator 10 years ago. A position that has taught him which technical documentation processes and tools that work well – and which processes and tools that need to be optimized or scrapped. Today, Esben works as an Advanced Documentation Specialist doing just that. Optimizing technical documentation processes end-to-end.

Isabelle Fleury is Executive Director of tekom Deutschland and has been committed to the further development of technical communication for many years. Her many years of experience as a consultant in global information management and 17 years on the board of tekom Deutschland contribute to her work. She is convinced that technical communication is a cornerstone of successful companies. She is passionately committed to the visibility and sustainability of Technical Communication.
